Clifford Michaelson, MD

Dr. Michaelson was a Yale National Scholar, and is a magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University. He graduated from New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Michaelson completed his residency in ophthalmology at New York University Medical Center and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the Edward Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Michaelson was an instructor in ophthalmology at Hahnemann Medical School in Philadelphia and an assistant professor of ophthalmology and neurology at Boston University Medical School. Dr. Michaelson served as the director of the Neuro-ophthalmology, Glaucoma, and Ophthalmology Consultation Services at Boston University Medical Center, prior to beginning the private practice of ophthalmology. Dr. Michaelson has been an investigator in many clinical trials for the development of new ophthalmologic pharmaceuticals, and has written and co-written a number of articles in peer reviewed ophthalmology journals. Dr. Michaelson's areas of practice include comprehensive ophthalmology and glaucoma, with a particular interest in neuro-ophthalmology.
